Question for Upperclasswomyn/men II.

I don't want to go back to NY any earlier than I have to. I'd just as soon not do EIP and spend that time wandering the globe or trying to find a lifemate.

Can someone just tell me that I don't have to? Too bad my firm doesn't tell us about offers until some time after EIP ends.

The real question: How many of you are going to do EIP again? If your firm tells you ahead of time, then go ahead and assume you get that offer. Or if you know you're clerking, will you summer again like lucre-loving Nate?

(Oh, and Blaine and Nancy are right. This is Matt S.)

  • oh, and am i the only one who has spent all day wondering what it would be like to be headbutted by alan?

  • From my end of the MoFo world, it seems to me that if you haven't been getting any negative feedback yet, you're pretty much assured of getting an offer.

Plus, even if skipped EIP and then found out you didn't get an offer, it wouldn't be the end of the world. You can still contact firms on your own and go in for interviews. That's how I got my Mofo job. (hehe, Mofo job!)

  • . . . even if *you* skipped . . .

  • i think you're pretty assured of an offer unless you do something stupid like a drunken skinny dip in the hudson river at a firm event.

and ditto to nate about contacting firms, sending resumes, and getting interviews.

    who has alan been headbutting?

  • Nancy,

    Trust me.
